How we label commercial links
A link that can earn us commission is labelled as an affiliate or referral link in the surrounding page copy and is marked with rel="sponsored". We link directly to the provider or partner application path so you can see where the link leads. We do not use an internal redirect to obscure the destination.
We also link to providers as factual sources, for example when citing a pricing page or product terms. Those ordinary source links are not commercial placements. Where a provider page is also a partner offer path, it is marked rel="sponsored" so the relationship is clear to readers and search engines.
